Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a systems administrator to manage Linux servers, containerized workloads, and Teamcenter/Solumina environments at a Singapore site.

You will collaborate with Operations leaders to capture requirements, support ramp-ups, and maintain robust, compliant manufacturing IT systems across on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Linux OS: deploy, configure, maintain and troubleshoot server-side apps on Linux.
• Containerized apps: package software and manage container workloads at scale with Kubernetes.
• Teamcenter administration: install, monitor, patch and integrate with databases.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support critical applications such as Teamcenter PLM, Solumina MES, and machine connectivity.
• Gather requirements with Operations leaders to support manufacturing ramp-up.
• Provide second-level production support to end users.
• Maintain and update critical applications, resolve vulnerabilities, deploy new releases.
• Ensure integrations between tools are running.
• Coordinate with remote admins for upgrades and incident resolution.
• Work with Operations specialists to configure and integrate tools to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure tools remain up to date and compliant.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Take part of one of the largest and most advanced Manufacturing greenfield project in Singapore!

• Work directly with various Digital Project teams to deploy and support critical Application hosted at the site : Teamcenter PLM, Solumina MES, Machine connectivity,ProductionScheduling!

• Daily contact with Operation leaders to gather technical and functional requirements and help with manufacturing ramp up.

• Provide second-level production support to end users.

• Maintain critical application up to date and compliant, resolve vulnerabilities , deploy new releases.

• Ensure integrations between these critical tools are running

• Coordinate with remote Senior apps & infra administrators - in India or US- for critical upgrades, major incident resolution.

• Willingness to work off hours in support of planned outages for system maintenance.

• You will work with Operations specialists to configure and integrate these tools to make manufacturing process more efficient.

• You will ensure these tools remain up to date and compliant.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

• Linux OS fluent knows how to deploy, configure, maintain, troubleshoot server side applications on Linux OS. Ensure Apps availability, performance, security thought effective env configuration log analysis & task automation

• Containerized applications : Practical ability to containerized application code, package software for portable deployment and manage containerized workload at scale using kubernetes

• Teamcenter administration : Expertise in installation, infrastructure optimization and operational support of Siemens Teamcenter environment. Patch deployment, system monitoring, database integration, troubleshooting

Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent):

• Degree in an Engineering / Technology discipline

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.

• 3 Years System admin experience

Preferred Skills:

• Oracle Databaseadministration: Sufficient knowledge of Oracle database to perform regular upgrades, compliance checks and remediation, runs complex scripts related to application migration and understand possible error messages

• Manufacturing Execution System : experience as administrator or super user of an MES such as Solumina from iBaseT.

• Experience working with manufacturing engineering teams, in Industry 4.0 environments.

• Experience in large corporations with complex internal processes and controls.

• Willingness to learn on the job as required. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and apply technical knowledge related to system infrastructure, ERP, and MES systems
