Job summary

GlobalFoundries invites engineering undergraduates for a 20-24 week credit-bearing internship focused on Giga Fab Transformation Design. You will gain hands-on experience in semiconductor cleanroom layout and layout updates using Autocad.

Youll learn to optimize main and subfab layouts and support tools movement across fabs to maximize space efficiency, under mentorship from experienced engineers and the GF internship program.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field during internship.
• This application is for a 20-24 week credit-bearing internship from June 2026 onwards.

Responsibilities

• Semiconductor cleanroom layout support.
• Maintain and update cleanroom layout using Autocad.
• Optimize main fab and subfab layout.
• Execute tools movement across fabs for space optimization.
