Job Summary
As an Industrial Engineer, you will leverage advanced analytics and AI tools to perform capacity analysis, propose strategies to management, and execute plans that support volume forecasts across tactical and long-term horizons. In this role, you will collaborate with Central Planning, Factory Network, and Supply Chain teams to develop scenarios and pursue strategic opportunities for the site. Candidates with hands‑on experience or strong familiarity with Generative AI, Agentic AI, or other AI‑driven solutions will stand out as innovators ready to shape the future of planning.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and validate capacity model and capital plan to enable accurate assessment of cost‑effective factory loading needs.
- Coordinate tool installation and location with facilities personnel and area engineers.
- Leverage AI in applying novel and relevant industrial engineering and data engineering skills to master data modeling, advance capacity optimization and optimize capital scheduling.
- Deploy effective project management and constraint debottlenecking strategies facilitating factory achievement of manufacturing Statement of Supply commitments in the tactical horizon.
Other Responsibilities
- Utilize effective visualization methods in presenting key factory constraints for driving manufacturing and cost improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in achieving optimal outcome considering trade‑off.
- Deploy appropriate AI‑driven solutions in achieving effective and efficient outcomes for self and teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Computer engineering or related fields preferable.
- Demonstrated at least 2 years of leadership skills, such as in university or other co‑curricular activities.
- Advanced verbal fluency and effective written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in M365 Apps such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment and succeed using effective coping and management methods.
- Ability to multi‑task and organize work systematically in meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
- Prior programming work (inclusive of vibe coding using free Gen AI tools).
- Hands‑on experience in AI (Chatbot, Agentic AI, Automation, etc.) tools in academic or work environments.
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
