Job summary

BeeX is seeking an Industrial Design Intern to help design and develop innovative products from concept to prototype. You will conduct market research, map user journeys, and benchmark against competitors to guide design decisions.

You will create mock-ups and 3D models, support prototyping and testing, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet production realities and user needs.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in product design, industrial design, or a related field.
• Strong CAD and 3D modelling skills with hands-on prototyping experience.
• Experience with design research, usability testing, and documentation.

Your Role

As the Industrial Design Intern, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative products, supporting projects from initial concept through to prototype. Your role will involve conducting market research, mapping user journeys, and performing competitive benchmarking to guide design decisions.

You will report directly to the CEO. Your day-to-day tasks will include creating mock-ups and 3D models to visualize product ideas, supporting prototyping and testing efforts to refine designs, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure product intent aligns with functional and production realities.

Job Scope

• Assist in the design and development of new components from concept to prototype.
• Conduct market research, user journey mapping and analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform product decisions.
