Job summary

NPAworldwide's client, a leading technology company in the semiconductor manufacturing space, seeks a Software Engineer to build and integrate industrial software and MES interfaces. You will work on C#/.NET applications connecting equipment with MES, developing SECS/GEM/GEM300 modules, and solving complex automation challenges.

The role covers software integration, testing, deployment, and on-site support in advanced manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
Experience with SECS/GEM and GEM300 is advantageous.
Strong hands-on programming in C# and .NET.
Experience building front-end apps with React.js and desktop apps with WPF/WinForms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET applications for industrial automation and equipment integration.
Create interfaces communicating with PLC-controlled equipment to read/write machine data and status.
Build real-time communication interfaces using Modbus TCP, OPC UA, Beckhoff ADS, and other protocols.
Develop SECS/GEM and GEM300 software for semiconductor equipment integration.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve connectivity and system integration issues.
Support testing, commissioning, deployment, and customer implementation activities.
