WGT EHR PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Principal Engineer to develop industrial automation software for machine control and hardware integration on Windows platforms.

You will own design, implementation and performance tuning using C++, C# and WPF, collaborating with electrical and mechanical engineers to turn system requirements into robust software solutions. Applicants should have strong analytical and debugging skills with a track record of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial automation software development.
Strong programming experience in C++, C# and WPF.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and troubleshoot industrial automation software using C++, C# and WPF.
Develop and integrate machine functionalities involving motion control cards, distributed I/O systems, sensors and actuators.
Implement reliable communication between software and hardware components and optimise application performance.
Apply multithreading, synchronization and memory management techniques to develop robust and efficient applications.
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to translate system requirements into software solutions.
Perform code reviews, troubleshooting and software optimisation while ensuring high standards of code quality, reliability and maintainability.
