Job summary

Income Insurance Limited is seeking a Claims Analyst for IncomeShield within the Life and Health Operations team in Singapore. You will process and assess outpatient income shield claims, scrutinize policy liability and determine payable amounts per guidelines.

We value candidates with a Diploma or Degree and HI certification, at least two years of claims experience, and strong analytical skills. You will work with a team to manage inquiries and liaise with intermediaries and hospitals.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma or Degree is required.
• Certified in Health Insurance (HI).
• Minimum 2 years of individual claims experience; Shield processing an advantage.
• Ability to manage insurance claims enquiries and negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to numbers.

Responsibilities

• Processing and assessing IncomeShield claims, with a focus on outpatient claims.
• Assess policy liability, investigate claims and determine the claim amount payable per guidelines.
• Compile, analyse and submit Claims reports as required.
• Prepare reports on claims cases to escalate to management and present at committee meetings.
• Manage enquiries and complaints from claimants.
• Liaison with intermediaries, hospitals and external parties.
• Undertake any other duties or projects as assigned by Supervisor or Head of Section.
