Job summary

Sembcorp invites an intern to join the Sustainability Analytics & Reporting team in Singapore. The role focuses on collecting and analyzing data across carbon, energy, water and waste via a cloud-based platform, delivering insights to support our sustainability goals and the annual report.

You will verify data monthly, perform carbon accounting, and assist in developing policies and guidelines while supporting reporting for global raters such as CDP in line with GRI, ISSB and GHG Protocol.

Qualifications

• Background in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the collection and analysis of sustainability data (carbon, energy, water, waste) using a cloud-based data management platform.
• Identify trends and develop insights to support Sembcorp's sustainability goals.
• Conduct data verification on sustainability data submitted by Markets monthly.
• Perform carbon accounting to measure and track Sembcorp's carbon footprint.
• Prepare sustainability reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain and organize project documentation and team records.
