Job summary

CapitaLand in Singapore is seeking an Intern to support Sustainability Data efforts, helping collect, validate and report global KPIs such as energy, waste and emissions.

You will liaise with property teams, assist onboarding to UL 360 and Greenview Portal, and help develop dashboards with Power BI/Tableau. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate sustainability data management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data collection, cleaning and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R is a plus).
• Experience with data platforms such as UL 360 and Greenview Portal, or the ability to quickly learn new software tools, is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, while working effectively as part of a global team.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SDGs) is a plus but not required.
• Interest in sustainability and environmental impact, with a willingness to learn and contribute to global sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Reporting: Assist in gathering, organising and analysing sustainability data from properties around the world, focusing on KPIs such as energy, waste and carbon emissions.
• Liaising with Global Properties: Work closely with operational teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of sustainability data.
• Data Accuracy & Quality Assurance: Perform data quality checks to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Onboarding New Properties to UL 360 & Greenview Portal: Guide properties through platform setup and troubleshoot issues during integration.
• Liaising with Parent Company: Coordinate with CapitaLand to meet sustainability data reporting requirements.
• Data Entry & Updates: Ensure data is entered into tracking systems on time and per reporting schedules.
• Develop & Maintain Reporting Tools: Help create data dashboards and reports with real-time insights.
• Reporting Support: Prepare periodic sustainability reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
