Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably GL.
• Experience with accounting software; Oracle is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to learn quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Available to commence on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end close with regional teams.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Analyse financial performance and prepare variance analyses.
• Provide accounting support to various departments and units.
• Prepare GST and withholding tax returns and related docs.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate stock takes and fixed asset sighting exercises.
• Liaise with auditors and address audit queries.
• Support year-end tax filing activities.
• Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects.
