Job summary

GovTech, Singapore's lead agency for Smart Nation initiatives, seeks an E&P Software Engineer. You will build internal tooling and platform solutions at the intersection of developer tooling, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, supporting 54 agency CIO teams.

The role focuses on automation, dashboards, and scalable engineering practices with AI integration. A degree in CS/SE and 3–5 years of experience are preferred; strong coding skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/SE or related field.
• 3–5 years of software engineering experience; quality over years.
• Strong programming in Python/TypeScript/Go; cloud and CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data and engage agency CIO teams to identify gaps.
• Conceptualise interventions (automation, tooling, dashboards) and prototype.
• Build, test, and maintain scalable internal tooling for 54 agencies.
• Run pilots, measure outcomes, and roll out to broader agency population.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
