Qualifications

• University student (any discipline) with strong interest in communications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong research, writing and organizational abilities.

• Demonstrates teamwork, motivation and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting communications materials (e.g. press releases and briefing documents)
• Compile, track, summarise and report on media coverage
• Conduct background research on companies and topics
• Assist with maintaining contact lists, editorial forward features lists, and event calendars
• Assist with corporate communications and media relations engagements (e.g. liaising with journalists, distributing press releases)
• Assist on new business initiatives and proposals (e.g. researching prospects, creating and editing PowerPoint presentations)
• Other ad hoc administrative tasks as necessary
