Job summary

IMDA invites interns to join the Enterprise Transformation & Innovation Group (EITG) for the January to June 2027 internship cycle. You will collaborate with tech solvers to shape AI-enabled showcases for PIXEL, translating technology capabilities into end-to-end demonstrations and coordinating with a Design & Build partner to realize the space.

We are looking for interns to join the Enterprise Transformation & Innovation Group (EITG) for our January to June 2027 internship cycle.

Scope of Work

Be part of a team to:

• Work directly with tech solvers to identify and shape relevant workflows and workloads, translating technology capabilities into compelling end-to-end showcases that demonstrate PIXEL as an AI living lab.
• Identify physical, spatial, infrastructure and technical requirements needed to bring showcases to life, and liaise with the appointed Design & Build company to ensure these requirements are incorporated into the space.
• Bring showcases from concept to implementation, through active stakeholder management (e.g. tech solvers, design and build company) to integrate, test and refine the showcases, ensuring the technology, workflow and physical experience come together cohesively.

Learning Outcomes

• Acquire knowledge of infocomm and media sector, especially startup environments. Learn about digital transformation and the latest developments in technologies like AI, Robotics, immersive media and emerging technology.
• Gain hands‑on experience at the intersection of innovation, technology, product thinking, service/workflow design, and stakeholder engagement.
• Learn how to work with technical teams, on the forefront to translate technology capabilities into practical use cases, design compelling demonstrations, and communicate innovation to both technical and non-technical audiences.
