Job summary

IMDA invites interns to join the Enterprise Transformation & Innovation Group for the January to June 2027 cycle. You will learn how government industry programmes are designed, launched, and iterated, while contributing to digital transformation initiatives.

You will gain hands-on experience with data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑agency collaboration, shaping real-world outcomes and improvements for national digital economy projects.

Responsibilities

• Support engagements with companies and partners to drive participation in DLP and DLAB programmes through events and follow-ups.
• Compile and categorise digital/AI projects from existing DLP companies into sector use cases and build reference datasets for officer engagements.
• Assist in post-project surveys, collate feedback, identify gaps and propose improvements to the programme.
• Contribute to design and execution of new DTC initiatives to support enterprises in their digital product commercialisation journey.

We are looking for interns to join the Enterprise Transformation & Innovation Group (EITG) for our January to June 2027 internship cycle.

Scope of Work

• Support engagements with companies and partners to drive pull through to DTC programmes (i.e. DLP and DLAB) through events, targeted communication and follow-ups.
• Compile and categorise digital / AI projects from existing DLP companies into sector-specific use cases, identify common themes / trends and build a reference datasets for officer engagements with prospective companies and Trade Association and Chambers.
• Support post projects/ events surveys implementation e.g. Collate and analyse companies’ feedback to identify gaps and propose concrete improvements to the programme.
• Contribute to the design and execution of new DTC initiatives to support enterprises in their digital product commercialisation journey.

Skills Required

• Proficient in Power BI or Tableau for data consolidation, visualisation, and trend analysis.
• Strong analytical skills to assess digital projects and identify industry patterns.
• Organised and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple workstreams across a 6- month internship.
• Keen interest in tech trends and industry development.
