Qualifications

We are looking for interns to join the Digital Industry & Talent Group (DITG) for our January to June 2027 internship cycle.

Scope of Work

• Support the development of an industry plan for Singapore's telecommunications sector.
• Understand Singapore's industry structure and key players including the telecommunication providers, infrastructure / equipment vendors and related ecosystem partners.
• Research on emerging technological trends (5G/6G, Non-terrestrial Networks, Edge Computing, etc) and its impact on the sector.

Learning Outcomes

• Understanding of the future communications industry and emerging tech trends.
• Gain exposure to how technical trends translate into business and policy decisions.
• Develop applied industry analysis and strategic thinking skills.
• Acquire research synthesis, report writing and presentation skills.

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of technical concepts in communications networks (or willingness to learn quickly).
