Qualifications

  • AHPC registration required.
  • Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography required.
  • 5 years specialised experience in advanced modalities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs duties in general radiography and at least one advanced imaging modality (CT/MRI/Ultrasound/Mammography/IR).
  • Administers contrast media when required.
  • Adheres to ALARA radiation safety and infection control practices.
  • Ensures efficient operation of radiography section and proper equipment usage.
  • Leads quality assurance programs and initiates improvements.
  • Plans, organises and prioritises assigned tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Handles escalated patient inquiries and complaints.
  • Renders prompt responses to internal stakeholders.
  • Conducts training and coaching of radiographers as main trainer.
  • Assists in updating imaging protocols and maintaining section standards.
