Job summary

Viridien is seeking an Imaging Geophysicist to join the GEO EH Imaging team. You will report to the Imaging Team/Project Leader and be assigned to processing projects, ensuring imaging steps are completed on time according to the production schedule.

You will apply your geophysical knowledge to solve imaging challenges, participate in software or workflow improvements, perform QC, and configure, run, and monitor processing decks to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D in Geosciences, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other analytical discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to solve geophysical issues and learn imaging techniques on projects.
• May provide suggestions to improve existing software, workflows, or products.
• Responsible for a processing step in an imaging project and for setting up, running, and monitoring processing decks.
• Responsible for QC of products and reporting problems to Team/Project Leaders.
