Job summary

UEMS Solutions Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned FM/IFM portfolio manager to lead a team in delivering contracted KPIs and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with technology teams to implement Smart FM and IoT solutions while supporting business development with technical solutions for new and renewed contracts.

The role requires strong P&L accountability, an engineering background, and familiarity with M&E and soft services.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering discipline or related field.
• 6–8 years of FM/IFM project portfolio management experience.
• Certification in energy efficiency or sustainability (SCEM, GMAP, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of FM industry trends and latest technologies.
• Strong knowledge in M&E works and soft services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in day-to-day operations to meet contractual KPIs.
• Deliver high service standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Technology to implement Smart FM, IoT, and in-house systems.
• Support Business Development with technical solutioning for new contracts and renewals.
• Guide onsite team to generate profitable additional works to improve margins.
• Take accountability for P&L of assigned accounts.
• Develop network of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage end-user feedback escalations and drive resolution.
• Review and improve existing work processes and propose new initiatives.
• Mobilise new start-up projects with internal stakeholders and ensure adequate manpower.
• Ensure accounts comply with OSH policies and set exemplary OSH behaviour.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Lead a team of staff in the day to day operations of the assigned accounts to fulfil contractual key performance indicators

• Deliver high service standards, drive continuous improvement and develop sound and sustainable business and operational strategies

• Work closely with Technology team to implement Smart FM, IOT, in-house management and maintenance systems and other innovative solutions

• Work closely with the Business Development team to provide technical solutioning in the pursuit of new contracts and to ensure existing contracts are renewed with better margin

• Provide strategies and guidance for the onsite team to generate profitable additional works to improve the overall project margin

• Take full accountability of profit & loss of the assigned accounts to achieve financial performance targets

• Develop a network of subcontractors and suppliers to support the operations

• Manage feedbacks from end-users escalated from the team and drive the resolution of issues/matters collectively

• Champion and lead in the reviewing and improvement of existing work processes, as well as proposing new initiatives and workflows if required

• Lead in the mobilisation of new start-up projects, including collaboration with internal stakeholders for successful mobilisation and adequate manpower resources for the projects.

• Ensure that the accounts are operated in line with Occupational, Safety & Health policies and to lead by example to display an exemplary workplace OSH champion and behaviour

• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the upline superior

Job Requirements

• Degree in engineering discipline or related disciplines with at least 6-8 years of working experience in managing a portfolio of FM/IFM projects

• Certification in energy efficiency, sustainability and green building such as SCEM, GMAP, etc will be added advantage

• Abreast with the FM industry trends and latest technologies

• Possess strong knowledge in M&E works & Soft Services will be an added advantage
