Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd is seeking a Consultant with 8–14 years of Production Support experience focusing on SSO and Identity and Access Management tools, preferably from the Banking industry. The role involves production support across presentation, application, and infrastructure layers and requires collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or related discipline.
• Must have minimum 8 to 15 years of experience in Production Support with SSO & IAM tools and authentication.
• Experience working in Banking industry is good to have.
• Hands-on experience in SSO tools like CA Siteminder and LDAP.
• Experience with web servers like Tomcat, Apache, nginx, IIS.
• Knowledge of SAML/WS-Security, Kerberos, PKI, SSL/TLS.
• Experience with automation tools e.g., Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively monitor, manage and improve availability and performance of production environments.
• Manage production capacity and customize production tools.
• Provide feedback and propose solutions on performance and design issues.
• Work with partner teams on incident analysis.
• Ensure changes are planned and deployed in a controlled manner.
• Escalate risks and ensure on-call support as needed.
• Maintain adherence to ITIL/Service Management processes.

Job Summary

We are hiring a Consultant with minimum 8 to 14 years of experience working in Production Support with SSO & Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools preferably from Banking industry. The role is focused on production support and requires a wide range of technical skills. The Production Engineer will work closely and in partnership with development and infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Pro-actively monitor, manage and improve availability and performance of the production environments (from presentation and application layers to Infrastructure layers).
• Pro-actively manage the capacity of production applications.
• Customize production tools (monitoring, deployment, scheduling etc.).
• Provide feedback and propose solutions to management on performance, capacity and design issues.
• Work with partner teams to conduct analysis of major and critical incidents.
• Identify tactical or strategic improvements that can be introduced to help reduce the number of on-going incidents within the SSO and IDM area.
• Work within the change management framework adopted by the company to ensure that all changes to the production environment are planned and executed in a controlled manner.
• Take responsibility for the quality of changes within the SSO and IDM environments, ensuring that changes raised are of sufficient standard in terms of technical and planning detail.
• Change preparation and deployment following standard application deployment tools and methodology.
• Perform pre-assigned tasks to accomplish the function responsible for.
• Work cooperatively with the other members of the team.
• Ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
• Request improvement of knowledge (training) when needed.
• Apply own initiative, within the levels of acceptable risk.
• Whenever in doubt, escalation and seek advice and guidance.
• If the nature of the position is user-facing, then all the guidelines and principles of user service mentality and behavior should be applied.
• Escalate risks / issues to the manager of the team.
• Minimize operational failure, including but not exclusively, the risk of fraud, by helping to devise, and by implementing, sufficient regular controls.
• Ensure appropriate escalation to management and/or Permanent Control (or Compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.
• Provide a direct contribution to the operational permanent control framework.
• As this is a production support role, focusing across a range of different and mostly cutting edge technologies, should have desire to learn.
• Ability to be on call and provide support out of hours is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or related discipline.
• Must have minimum 8 to 15 years of experience in Production Support with SSO & Identity and access management (IAM) tools and authentication.
• Experience working in Banking industry is good to have.
• Experience working with CA Siteminder Web SSO, LDAP.
• Hands-on experience in auto provisionning tools such as BMC ControlSA, Sailpoint, or Forgerock
• Experience in Application Server in configuring and supporting web technologies such as Tomcat, Apache, nginx, IIS.
• Hands-on experience in tools like SOA security - SAML / WS-Security and Kerberos / SSL/TLS / PKI / GSS-API / SPNEGO.
• Experience in IIS/WCF/WIF, WAS security models.
• Good understanding of Infrastructure standards for network load balancers, servers, networks and storage.
• Experience in automation mind-set with experience in using tools like Ansible.
• Scripting skills using Python or shell.
• Proven logical and methodical problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Working with an industry recognised service desk and project management toolset.
• Clear communicator in both written and oral forms.
• Technical expertise in tools like - oAuth2, OpenIDConnect.
• Expereicne in SQL, Database schema and Authentication services for APIs.
• Exposure to Apigee API gateway.
• Knowledge of Process & Quality management, ITIL v2/v3.
• Knowledge of Atlasian Jira Task Management toolset.
• Expertise on ServiceNow as a Service Desk Management product is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certificate will be an advantage.
• Should be flexible in working in On-Call services (out of business hours).
