Job summary

JOBSTER PRIVATE LTD. seeks an ICT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support secure cloud and infrastructure platforms, primarily on AWS. You will manage infrastructure across enterprise and multi-account environments and drive automation using IaC and configuration management tools.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, DevOps, security, monitoring, and production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant ICT infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or related experience with strong AWS exposure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including Compute, Database, Storage, and networking.
• Hands-on with Terraform/Ansible or equivalent IaC and configuration management technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD and source-control platforms (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket).
• Good understanding of cloud and infrastructure security including IAM, vulnerability management, and patching.
• Strong scripting/automation skills in Python, Shell/Bash and AWS Systems Manager.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage AWS cloud infrastructure across multi-account environments.
• Develop and maintain IaC and automate provisioning, patching, and ops tasks using Terraform/Ansible, Python, and Shell.
• Build and support CI/CD/workflows, integrating deployment, configuration management, and security scanning.
• Monitor availability and security using AWS and enterprise monitoring tools, perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement security controls, vulnerability remediation, IAM hardening, patch management and audits.
• Support migration, modernization, resilience, backup, and high-availability across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, network, and vendor teams; produce runbooks and best practices.

Job Description:
As an ICT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting secure and resilient cloud and infrastructure platforms, primarily on AWS. You will manage infrastructure across enterprise and multi-account environments and drive automation using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools. The role requires strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, DevOps, security, monitoring, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision and manage AWS cloud infrastructure across enterprise and multi-account environments, including compute, networking, storage, database, container, and supporting services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, patching, and operational activities using Terraform/Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, AWS Systems Manager, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Build and support CI/CD and DevOps workflows, integrating infrastructure deployment, configuration management, security scanning, and automated operational processes.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security using AWS and enterprise monitoring/logging solutions, and troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement infrastructure security controls and support vulnerability remediation, IAM hardening, patch management, security assessments, penetration-test findings, and audit/compliance requirements.
• Support infrastructure migration, modernisation, resilience, backup, high availability, and continuous improvement initiatives across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, network, cloud service provider, and vendor teams; provide technical guidance, documentation, SOPs, operational runbooks, and engineering best practices.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in ICT infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or infrastructure operations, including strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Compute,Database,Storage and related networking services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform/Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, or equivalent Infrastructure as Code and configuration management technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD and source-control platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bitbucket, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of cloud and infrastructure security, including IAM, least privilege, vulnerability management, system hardening, patching, security findings remediation, and audit/compliance requirements.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Shell/Bash, AWS Systems Manager, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor teams.
