Job summary

Eco-ITS Private Limited is seeking an ICT Educator to nurture an e-Learning culture within the school and develop digital resources for home-based learning. You will design interactive materials, deliver ICT training workshops, and provide technical support to staff and students.

The role involves creating content with Scratch, Delightex and Microbit, guiding student projects, and collaborating with the HOD ICT on IT initiatives across classes and groups.

Qualifications

• Relevant ICT certification in computing, engineering or infocommunication.
• Knowledgeable with systems such as website programming and Google Docs.
• Proficient in Scratch Junior, Scratch 3.0, Delightex and Microbit.
• Good ICT tools knowledge to support self-directed and collaborative learning.
• Experience managing children under 12.
• Experience in a primary school is a plus.
• Good planning and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for briefing/training.
• Good classroom management and ability to multi-task.
• MOE trainer certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nurturing e-Learning/ePedagogy culture in the school.

• Provide software and technical assistance to staff and students.
• Compile student showcase projects and guide participation in ICT competitions.

• Deliver courses including Touch Typing, Cyber Wellness, E-Learning Portal, and more.
• Utilise multimedia facilities and basic photo/video editing.
• Provide training to students or staff on implementation and ICT tools.

Scope of Services

• Assist in nurturing the e-Learning/ePedagogy culture in the school.
• Create e-learning content e.g. resources for home-based learning

• Conduct ICT-based customised training workshop for staff and students.
• Provide software and technical assistance to both staff and students.
• Compile student showcase projects.
• Guide and coach students through ICT competitions.
• Provide assistance in development and research of IT solutions.
• Work closely with the HOD ICT to spearhead IT initiatives.

Qualification Skill & Experience

The Personnel should preferably have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Relevant certification in ICT eg. Computing, Engineering, Infocommunication.

• Proficient in Scratch Junior, Scratch 3.0, Delightex and Microbit
• Good knowledge in ICT tools (for self-directed and collaborative learning) appropriate for learning and teaching.
• Experience managing children under the age of 12.
• Some experience working in a primary school would be an advantage.
• Good planning and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to conduct briefing / training to students or in-house staff for related implementation.
• Good classroom management skills.
• Able to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
