Job summary

AMAZON ASIA-PACIFIC RESOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an ICT Design Engineer to join its global engineering team supporting AWS data centers. You will design pathways, cabling, and related infrastructure, collaborate with managers and suppliers, and ensure designs meet construction and permitting requirements.

The role emphasizes coordinating with on-site teams, evaluating new technologies, and advancing infrastructure quality while maintaining cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
• 4+ years of commissioning experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of scalable fiber optic & copper plant designs and specifications
• Review and approve ICT pathway, cabling and equipment submittals
• Identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively
• Support new technology and design activities that improve infrastructure quality, reduce cost and installation time
• Travel 20+% to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors at AWS' Data Centers
