is seeking an experienced Mathematics Tutor to provide 1-to-1 tuition for Year 8 and Year 9 students at Dover Court International School in Singapore. The tutor should be familiar with the British Curriculum and capable of supporting students with their current school work while building a solid foundation for IGCSE Mathematics, including problem solving and reasoning.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Science or related field.
• Experience teaching or tutoring secondary school Mathematics.
• Familiarity with British Curriculum / KS3 / IGCSE.
• IGCSE Mathematics teaching experience preferred.
• International school teaching/tutoring experience is an advantage.
• Able to teach confidently in English.
• Patient, responsible and able to explain concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-to-1 Mathematics tuition for Year 8 and Year 9 students.
• Follow and complement the DCIS Mathematics curriculum.
• Review schoolwork, assignments and assessment results.
• Identify learning gaps and strengthen core concepts.
• Develop mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students for school assessments and future IGCSE Mathematics.
• Provide regular feedback on student progress.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Mathematics Tutor to provide 1-to-1 tuition for students in Year 8 and Year 9 at Dover Court International School (DCIS), Singapore.

The tutor should be familiar with the British Curriculum and able to support students with their current school curriculum while building a strong foundation for IGCSE Mathematics.
