Job summary

Quintessential Education (QE) is Singapore’s leading provider of academic support and university admissions advisory for IGCSE and IB students. We are hiring a Full-Time Mathematics Tutor to support students in IGCSE Math, teaching group and 1-on-1 sessions at our Orchard Road campus.

The ideal candidate will design syllabus-aligned lessons, deliver practice drills and exam strategies, track progress, and contribute to curriculum planning.

Qualifications

• Strong academic foundation in Mathematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to teach both small group and individual lessons.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented.
• Familiarity with IGCSE Math syllabus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach IGCSE Mathematics in group and 1-on-1 settings.

• Conduct timed practices, revision intensives, and provide personalised feedback
• Build and maintain a bank of digitised resources and worksheets

We are hiring a Full-Time Mathematics Tutor with the subject mastery and passion to support students in IGCSE Math. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping students overcome their fear of math and reach their academic potential.

Role & Responsibilities

• Teach IGCSE Mathematics in both group and 1-on-1 settings.

• Design and deliver syllabus-aligned lessons, practice drills, and exam strategy workshops

• Conduct timed practices, revision intensives, and provide personalised feedback

• Build and maintain a bank of digitised resources and worksheets

• Track student progress and communicate insights to the academic team and parents

• Participate in curriculum planning and academic workshops

Requirements

• Strong academic foundation in Mathematics

• Able to teach both small group and individual lessons

• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about teaching

• Familiarity with IGCSE Math syllabus is strongly preferred

• Teach Primary and IGCSE Maths in small group and 1-on-1 settings for Grade 1–10.

• Applicants must be currently based in Singapore and legally eligible to work in Singapore.

Graduates and senior tutors with outstanding Mathematics grades are welcome to apply.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: $4,500 – $8,000 (commensurate with experience)

Schedule

• 5-day work week (4 weekdays + 1 weekend)

• Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (2 Weekdays at 12:00 PM -21:15 PM) (timings negotiable)

• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (timings negotiable)
