Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Chief Technology Office, Identity & Access Management, to lead reliability initiatives and mentor engineers. You will drive design reviews, break down complex problems, and act as technical lead for medium to large products with a focus on security and resiliency.

The role requires strong expertise across CI/CD, observability, and enterprise architecture, with a focus on reducing toil and enhancing incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Five+ years of applied experience in reliability and SRE practices.
• Fluent in one of Python, Java/Spring Boot, .Net, or PowerShell.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows.

Responsibilities

• Champions site reliability culture and shares knowledge internally.
• Leads initiatives to improve reliability using data-driven analytics to enhance service levels.
• Defines service level indicators and objectives with stakeholders.
• Mentors engineers and drives AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC.
