Job summary

ByteDance invites graduates to join the Infrastructure Engineering team in Singapore to build and operate hyperscale datacenters. You will engage across the software lifecycle, from design to deployment, and help ensure scalable, reliable cloud solutions.

Must be recent graduate or current student with strong problem-solving ability and collaboration skills. Applications reviewed on rolling basis; onboarding by year-end is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a software-related field.
• Experience with programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
• Support services before they go live through activities such as capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Support and maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolving systems for reliability and velocity.
• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions applying CS and engineering principles.
• Update software and enhance existing capabilities and testing/validation procedures.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop performance requirements.
