Job summary

Canopius is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to design, build and maintain analytics and reporting capabilities that drive strategic decisions. You will lead analytics initiatives, work with stakeholders, and mentor other engineers while leveraging Power BI, Databricks and modern cloud tools to deliver trusted, scalable insights.

You will contribute to business transformation projects and help establish a future-ready, cloud-native reporting ecosystem across Canopius.

Qualifications

Strong analytics engineering principles and cloud data platforms.
Experience building semantic models and datasets for reporting.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across analytics and reporting initiatives.
Design and optimise semantic models and datasets using Power BI and Databricks.
Monitor report performance and optimise data models and DAX calculations.
Implement data validation and automated testing for analytics outputs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics roadmaps and deliver end-to-end work items.
Mentor team members and promote best practices in analytics engineering.
