Job summary

Quantinuum in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer/Developer to design and develop a hybrid workflow orchestrator between quantum processors and classical HPC resources. You will build scalable orchestration software and integrate with Slurm-like schedulers to optimize hybrid workloads.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, strong Python, Rust and/or C++, and a passion for pushing quantum-enabled HPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Rust and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Build and maintain scalable orchestration software to manage hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
• HPC Integration: Develop robust interfaces between HPC job schedulers (e.g., Slurm) and quantum runtimes, optimizing data movement and job scheduling.
• QPU Interoperability: Work with QPU hardware control systems and SDKs to integrate quantum execution into production pipelines.
• System Reliability: Ensure high availability, monitoring, and debugging of distributed hybrid systems.
