Job summary

Quantinuum seeks an Advanced Software Engineer to design and implement a hybrid Quantum-HPC orchestration layer in Singapore. You will bridge classical HPC workloads with quantum runtimes, building scalable software that orchestrates hybrid workflows across QPUs and CPUs.

You will work on interfaces between Slurm and quantum runtimes, ensuring data movement efficiency and robust production pipelines. This role demands deep software development experience and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Rust and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Build and maintain scalable orchestration software to manage hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
• HPC Integration: Develop robust interfaces between HPC job schedulers (e.g., Slurm) and quantum runtimes, optimizing data movement and job scheduling.
• QPU Interoperability: Work with QPU hardware control systems and SDKs to integrate quantum execution into production pipelines.
• System Reliability: Ensure high availability, monitoring, and debugging of distributed hybrid systems.

Advanced Software Engineer – Hybrid Quantum-HPC Orchestration - 860 at Quantinuum, Singapore. A mid-level full time position in the Quantum Computing Software team, listed under software engineering.
