Job summary

The Singapore-ETH Centre is hiring a System Engineer for ML Platform on a Cloud-like HPC infrastructure. You will manage a data-centric ML platform, automate CI/CD pipelines, and integrate tokenization and cartography modules. The role requires hands-on Linux, microservice, and Ansible experience.

Work is on-site in Singapore with quarterly travel to collaborate with the Swiss team. The position is full-time on a fixed-term contract of two years, with competitive benefits and a diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and Linux administration.
• Automation tools and CI/CD processes (Gitlab CI, Vault).
• Experience with Ansible configurations.
• Familiarity with ArgoCD and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ML platform with a data-centric focus across the research lifecycle.
• Support data-centric CI/CD pipelines for artifact provenance.
• Use Ansible to integrate modular vService components into research environments.
• Ensure observability of data and latent representations for researchers.
