Job summary

The Singapore-ETH Centre is seeking a System Engineer for ML Platform on a Cloud-like HPC Infrastructure with a data-centric focus. You will manage the ML platform to support the full research lifecycle, from data tokenization to model validation, beyond simple code deployment.

Responsibilities include data-centric CI/CD, artifact provenance, and modular vService integrations using Ansible. You will ensure platform observability and multi-tenant provisioning, collaborating across Swiss and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture, Linux administration, CI/CD processes, and related tooling.
• Experience developing Ansible configurations and managing modular vService integrations.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Understanding data-centric ML principles and scalable research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage ML platform with a data-centric focus across the research lifecycle.
• Support data-centric CI/CD pipelines ensuring artifact provenance.
• Use automation frameworks (Ansible) to manage modular vService integrations.
• Ensure platform observability for data and latent space embeddings.
• Maintain interfaces to infrastructure provisioning APIs for multi-tenant vCluster creation.
