Job summary

The Singapore-ETH Centre is hiring a System Engineer for ML Platform on a Cloud-like HPC Infrastructure with a data-centric focus. You will manage the ML platform across data tokenization to model cartography, collaborating with researchers and engineers.

Position requires quarterly travel to Switzerland and strong automation, CI/CD, and Ansible experience. We offer a diverse, inclusive environment with flexible hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Knowledge of automation tools and CI/CD processes and ecosystem (Gitlab CI, HashiCorp Vault).
• Developing Ansible configurations.
• Versioning systems and CI/CD workflows such as ArgoCD.
• Understanding Data-Centric ML principles and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ML platform with a data-centric focus across the full research lifecycle.
• Support data-centric CI/CD pipelines and artifact provenance.
• Use Ansible to manage modular vService integrations (Token-Cartographer components).
• Ensure platform observability for data and latent space embeddings.
• Maintain interfaces to infrastructure provisioning APIs for multi-tenant vClusters.
• Assist end-to-end provisioning and management of the ML platform, including secret vaults and artifact repositories.
