Job summary

Citi in Singapore is seeking a Securities and Derivatives Custody Settlement Analyst to keep client transactions moving accurately across global markets. You will investigate settlements, strengthen controls, and partner with clients, custodians, and trading desks to resolve issues before they affect the business.

This role offers a hybrid work model, with three days in the office and two days remote, and opportunities to build deep expertise in custody settlement while protecting client

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in securities operations or custody operations.
• Experience with settlement processing and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of securities trade lifecycle and settlement process.
• Strong focus on risk, controls, and escalation practices.
• Degree in business/finance or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Process custody securities transactions across the full settlement lifecycle against market deadlines.
• Investigate failed or pending trades and address settlement instruction errors.
• Monitor daily settlement activity to identify operational risks early.
• Collaborate with clients, custodians, and trading desks to resolve exceptions.
• Escalate high-impact settlement breaks and propose fixes to reduce risk.
• Maintain standing settlement instructions and account data.
• Support system improvements, migrations, and automation projects.
• Mentor new team members on settlement procedures.
