Job summary

Meptech Engineering And Services is seeking a maintenance technician in Singapore to perform routine HVAC upkeep, component replacements, and leak inspections. The role involves identifying system issues, proposing installation tasks, and performing cleaning activities to maintain equipment reliability.

You will engage with customers, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure service standards while supporting daily operations and events.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer knowledge and be familiar with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Demonstrate ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Be able to work flexible work schedules and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance activities such as unit cleaning, filter replacement, and leak inspection.
• Identify and resolve issues within the air conditioning system, such as compressor malfunctions or refrigerant leaks.
• Develop feasibility pre-installation design proposals and executing installation tasks
• Conduct chemical and overhaul cleaning
• Engage with customers to assess their requirements and provide information on air conditioning systems
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment
• Ensure that all service standards and precision performance goals are achieved in order to ensure a smooth operation
• Assist with all scheduling of daily operations and special events, to meet budget
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to further develop skills, abilities, and knowledge on their own
• Must be able to communicate efficiently and be able to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Be able to work flexible work schedules and long hours
• Develop and put together new procedures
• Conduct weekly meetings with the operators to cover safety, discuss company information and operational issues
• Provide maintenance support to users of equipment
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment related faults.
