Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an HVAC Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of HVAC systems across offices, laboratories, control rooms and workshops on Bukom site. The role covers maintenance, replacement, rejuvenation and improvements, requiring a strong HVAC foundation and electrical background, including power supplies, motors and control panels.

You will work with integrated facilities management teams and contractors to maintain performance, support energy initiatives and ensure safety

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC maintenance or facilities engineering experience.
• Experience in industrial environments (petrochemical, data centre) preferred.
• Strong electrical background with practical HVAC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs and precision cooling equipment.
• Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance by FM teams and contractors.
• Troubleshoot HVAC mechanical, electrical and control-system faults.
• Coordinate with electrical team for switching, isolation and safety procedures.
• Lead site assessments and prepare technical solutions, budgets and schedules.
