Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd, through its Sembcorp Specialised Construction unit, is hiring an HSE Coordinator to lead a team on site in Singapore and drive project HSE programs.

You will work with project teams, conduct inspections, coordinate training, and maintain documentation. The role requires certificates in safety, familiarity with incident and risk management, and strong communication. Only Singaporeans will be considered.

Qualifications

• WSQ Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.
• Certificate in Safety Coordinator Training Course.
• Familiar with incident & risk management procedures.
• Familiar with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HSE Officer in the management and implementation of the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) management system
• Lead HSE Coordinators at project level.
• Conduct inspections to identify any non-compliances in the worksite and raise reports on follow-up actions including monitoring the compliance of such actions
• Coordinate and conduct HSE training programmes, campaigns, emergency drills and other HSE related activities.
• Maintain records of HSE documentation (e.g., inspection reports, training records, incident investigation reports, etc).
• Coordinate independently with subcontractors on compliance to HSE policies.
• Facilitate incident investigation with the project team
• Work closely with project team and provide advice on HSE matters
• Any other ad-hoc matters assigned by Management
