Job summary

A leading food and beverage company in Singapore is looking for an HR Manager to lead recruitment and manage employee relations. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of HR experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of MOM regulations is preferred, and proficiency in English is required. This position offers opportunities to support employee training and development.

Job description
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for all restaurant positions (service crew, kitchen staff, supervisors, managers, etc.).
  • Screen applications, arrange interviews, and communicate job expectations clearly with candidates.
  • Work closely with outlet managers to understand manpower needs and ensure timely hiring.
  • Maintain and manage recruitment platforms (JobStreet, MyCareersFuture, FastJobs, Xiaohongshu, etc.).
2. Employee Management & Communications
  • Act as the communication bridge between HQ and outlet employees.
  • Manage staff matters including attendance, scheduling, leave, and employee relations.
  • Support outlet supervisors and managers in resolving performance or discipline-related issues.
  • Build strong rapport with employees and contribute to a positive working environment.
3. HR Policies, Processes & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, HR documents, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and SOPs.
  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with MOM regulations and company standards.
4. Training & Development Support
  • Coordinate training sessions (service standards, kitchen SOPs, safety, customer service, etc.).
  • Identify skills gaps and support employee development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or people management (F&B experience is a strong advantage but not mandatory).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage employees at all levels.
  • English proficiency is required for workplace communication.
    Ability to speak Mandarin will be an advantage as the role involves interacting with Mandarin‑speaking employees.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of MOM regulations and HR procedures will be an advantage.
