Job summary

Stemgenic is partnering with a growing international chemicals manufacturer to establish a new Singapore plant. We seek a standalone HR lead to build and run the full employee lifecycle for the greenfield operation, reporting directly into site leadership.

You will drive recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance, and HR policy development while collaborating with overseas stakeholders during startup and ramp-up. The role blends startup energy with manufacturing discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Manufacturing or industrial HR experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM practices.
• Hands-on exposure across recruitment, payroll, compliance, and HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, compensation administration, and offboarding.
• Support workforce planning and manpower coordination across production, quality, warehouse, HSE, and support functions.
• Coordinate payroll activities, work-pass administration, HR compliance, and employee relations matters.
• Develop HR policies, operational workflows, and HR frameworks aligned with Singapore labour regulations.
• Partner closely with plant leadership and overseas stakeholders during the startup and ramp-up phase.
• Support a positive, compliant, and operationally focused manufacturing culture.

Job Details

A rare greenfield opportunity to establish and lead the HR function for a new specialty chemicals manufacturing operation in Singapore. As the standalone HR lead for the Singapore entity, you will take ownership across the full employee lifecycle while supporting the operational build-up of the plant.
