Job summary

Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) is seeking a driven professional to strengthen the HR ecosystem through strategic partnerships and stakeholder engagement. You will work across government agencies, HR bodies, industry groups, unions and training providers to identify needs and co-create initiatives that improve HR practices and outcomes.

The role focuses on developing partnerships end-to-end, from engagement to project delivery, monitoring outcomes and scaling impactful

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder engagement, partnership development and relationship management skills.
• Ability to understand ecosystem needs and translate them into practical initiatives.
• Knowledge of HR, workforce development or sector development issues and trends.
• Facilitation, negotiation, written communication and presentation skills.
• Sound project and programme management capabilities, including planning, governance and risk management.
• Analytical thinking with evidence-based recommendation capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to strengthen the HR ecosystem and advance workforce priorities.
• Build trusted relationships with government agencies, HR bodies, industry groups, unions and training providers.
• Engage partners to identify needs, gaps and collaboration opportunities.
• Co-create and deliver initiatives, programmes and platforms that improve HR capabilities and access to resources.
• Manage partnerships end-to-end including contracts, implementation and risk management.
• Monitor partnership health and programme outcomes to refine approaches and scale successful collaborations.
• Represent the organisation at engagements and collaborate with internal teams on sector-wide HR transformation.
