Position Summary
The HR BusinessPartner (HRBP) servesas a strategicpartner to theretailleadership team, supportingapproximately 70 storesacross Singapore. Thisrole is responsiblefor driving peoplestrategies that enhancebusiness performance, employeeengagement,talent development, andoperational excellence.The HRBP worksclosely with Head of Field, AreaManagers, Store Managers, and cross-functionalteams to ensureeffective HRservice delivery whilefostering a high-performing and inclusiveculture.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership
- Partner with RetailOperations leaders toalign HR strategieswith business objectives.
- Provide trusted HRadvice and coachingtoHead of Field, AreaManagers, Store Managers onpeople-related matters.
- Support workforce planningand organizational effectivenessto meet evolvingbusiness needs.
- Analyze people metricsand trendstoidentify opportunitiesand recommend solutions.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with theTalent Acquisition teamto ensure timelyrecruitmentfor retail positions.
- Support manpower planningand succession planningacross the retailnetwork.
- Participate ininterviewsfor key retailleadership positions whererequired.
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relationsissues, conductingfair and thoroughinvestigations where necessary.
- Advise managers ondisciplinary matters, performance management,grievances,and employment legislation.
- Ensure consistent applicationof company policiesand employment practices.
Performance & Talent Management
- Drive the annualperformance managementcycle across theretail organization.
- Coach managers onperformance conversations, goal setting, anddevelopment planning.
- Identify high-potentialemployees and supporttalent review andsuccession planning initiatives.
Learning & Development
- Identify capability gapsand partner withLearning & Developmentto implement relevanttraining programs.
- Promote leadership developmentand continuous learningacross store teams.
Employee Engagement
- Support engagement initiativesthat strengthen companyculture and employeeexperience.
- Analyze engagement surveyresults and workwith business leadersto develop actionplans.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, and recognitioninitiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance withSingapore employment legislationand company policies.
- Support policy implementation, HR audits, andregulatory requirements.
- Partner with HROperations on employeelifecycle processes andHR systems.
- Maintain accurate HRdocumentation and reporting.
Change Management
- Support organizational changesincluding restructures,new business initiatives, and transformation projects.
- Guide leaders throughchange management activitiesto ensuresmoothimplementation and employeeadoption.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree inHuman Resources, BusinessAdministration, or arelated discipline.
- 5–8 yearsof HR BusinessPartner or HRGeneralist experience within retail,FMCG, hospitality, orother multi-siteoperations.
- Experience supporting ageographically dispersedworkforce.
- Experience handling employeerelations and performancemanagement cases.
- Proven ability toinfluence stakeholdersat all levels.
- Strong business partneringand stakeholder managementskills.
- Excellent communicationand interpersonal abilities.
- Commercial mindset withthe ability tobalance business andpeople priorities.

This role requires regular travel across Singapore to visit stores ( at least 3 days per week), build relationships with retail teams, and provide on-site HR support. The successful candidate will be a proactive, hands-on HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic retail environment and partnering closely with operational leaders to drive business success.
