Job summary

The Garcha Group, Singapore's boutique hotel group, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and conduct preventive maintenance across hotel facilities. You will communicate with guests to resolve issues and ensure safe, efficient operations in a Marriott-affiliated environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, maintaining inventories, and performing repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Display basic knowledge in air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Perform surface prep, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and clean-up of repair area.
• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment and electrical components.
• Program TVs and perform housekeeping and inventory duties.
