Job summary

RECRUITMENT SUPPORT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hotel technician to join a client hotel's maintenance team in Singapore.

The Technician will perform routine and emergency maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and guest areas are well maintained. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, basic electrical troubleshooting, repairs to plumbing, HVAC units, lighting, and fixtures, plus coordinating with external contractors and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in hotel, building or general maintenance is preferred.
• Able to perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs safely.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on hotel equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, air-conditioning units, door locks, water heaters, and bathroom fixtures.
• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and maintenance issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) according to the hotel's maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on pumps, motors, plumbing systems (e.g. toilets, basins, faucets, drains), and other hotel equipment.
• Repair or replace lamps, light fittings, switches, power sockets, door locks, door closers, and other minor electrical or mechanical components.
• Perform basic painting, touch-up, wall patching, plastering, silicone sealing (caulking), and cosmetic repairs.
• Carry out basic carpentry and furniture repairs, including doors, cabinets, drawers, beds, tables, chairs, and other hotel fixtures.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities regularly to identify and rectify maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with external contractors during servicing, repairs, inspections, and renovation works.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance work, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in accordance with workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean and organised condition.
• Attend to emergency maintenance issues such as water leakage, power failures, equipment breakdowns, and other urgent repairs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Hotel Management.

We are seeking for a hotel technician to join our client's hotel. As a Technician, you will ensure that routine maintenance is performed in order for the Hotel's equipment to be operated with maximum efficiency and Hotel's facilities are well maintained, to achieve customer and guest satisfaction.

Salary: Up to $3500

• Responsible, reliable, and able to respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in hotel maintenance or hospitality industry.
• Basic knowledge of fire safety systems and building maintenance.
