Job summary

Furama Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and routine upkeep across lighting, power, HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, kitchen, laundry and plumbing equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hotel engineering services and building facilities.
• Experience in regular inspection, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to operate and maintain switchboards, electrical panels, motors, lighting and power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance of lighting, power, HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, kitchen, laundry and plumbing equipment.
• Carry out inspections and maintenance of switchboards, electrical panels and motors.
• Carry out guestroom and public area maintenance programs as directed by Engineering leadership.
• Maintain HVAC and refrigeration units including air handling units, fan coils and package units.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance of kitchen, laundry, plumbing and drainage systems.
• Carry out carpentry, masonry, painting and related refurbishment tasks as required.
• Record daily operating conditions of plant and equipment and ensure compliance with checks.
• Inspect pool area and pumping equipment; monitor pool water quality per NEA rules.
• Coordinate with contractors for servicing tasks and on-site works.
• Assist in lift rescue operations in the event of a lift breakdown.
