Job summary

MERCURE SINGAPORE BUGIS is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations. You will perform shift duties, inspect M&E systems, and carry out repairs under supervision to keep facilities running smoothly.

The role focuses on building services, ventilation, air conditioning, and related equipment, with an emphasis on safety, reporting faults promptly, and maintaining good teamwork with hotel staff.

Qualifications

• ITE Certification in electrical/building services/air conditioning.
• Able to multitask and detail oriented.
• Able to perform shift duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift duties as required by operations.
• Follow up with Engineering P&P and carry out tasks by superior.
• Assist in repair, troubleshooting & preventive maintenance of the Building & M&E systems.
• Responsible for repair and maintenance of the hotel's ventilation, refrigeration, sanitary & air conditioning systems and all other equipment.
• Daily checks of the building and its M&E systems for faults; report and follow up on repairs.
• Complete assigned duties before off-duty.
• Daily checks and recording of utilities.
• Monitor service and maintenance of all equipment and controls.
• Monitor upkeep, repairs and repainting of interior furnishings.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships among staff; hand over information to the next shift.
