Job summary

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities include portioning ingredients, assisting chefs, maintaining hygiene, and supporting stock control while working across stations. The role is permanent part-time with shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and offers meals and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Able to perform the physical duties of the role, including prolonged standing.
• Demonstrates teamwork and a service-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients including washing, cutting, marinating and portioning.
• Assist with cooking as directed by chefs according to recipes and standards.
• Support at kitchen stations (sauce, grill, sauté, cold kitchen or pastry) to ensure timely service.
• Maintain food quality, taste and presentation; check ingredient freshness.
• Assist with stock replenishment, rotation, and waste reduction.
• Keep workstations clean, organized and stocked; follow safety and hygiene rules.
