Job summary

The role requires basic engineering concepts, strong responsibility, good communication, and willingness to learn. English proficiency is essential; weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of engineering department experience
• NITEC in Engineering preferred
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical or civil concepts
• Strong responsibility, teamwork, professionalism and willingness to learn
• Good working with supervisors and peers
• Open to feedback and clear communication
• Familiar with basic office software and digital tools used in engineering
• Willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Basic English; other languages a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform general work order maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Assist engineering team in completing maintenance work
• Ensure normal operation of hotel equipment and systems
• Follow safety rules and manage equipment records
• Inspect and maintain equipment to keep it in good condition
• Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency measures
• Support maintenance for events and meetings
• Test generator function during power outages
• Supervise fire safety works and prevent violations
