Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Singapore is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to inspect guestrooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, performing repairs and replacements of lighting, plumbing, carpentry and fixtures.

You will use basic hand and power tools, lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 feet, maintain tools and work areas safely, log maintenance records in English, respond promptly to calls and assist hotel operations as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of maintenance trades for visual inspection and repairs.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 feet.
• Maintain clean and safe tools, equipment and work areas.
• Keep logs and inspection records in English.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and assist operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guestrooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas for repairs.
• Repair or replace lighting, fixtures and hardware.
• Perform preventive maintenance and small repairs.
• Maintain safety standards and report health and safety issues.
• Keep detailed maintenance logs in English.
• Assist hotel operations as required.
