Job summary

Hilton International Asia Pacific Pte Ltd seeks an Engineering Technician responsible for maintaining hotel systems and assisting the Engineering department. You will ensure normal operation of power, water, electrical, and mechanical equipment and support event setups.

You’ll follow safety rules, keep records, manage tools, and assist with generator tests and energy efficiency. The role requires teamwork, basic English, and availability for shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Engineering department.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with basic office software and digital tools used in engineering.
• Open to feedback and able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: strictly adhere to staff rules and safe equipment use.
• Operational Management: ensure the normal operation of hotel power, water, gas, heating and cooling equipment.
• Record Keeping: inspect equipment operation and shift handover records.
• Equipment Maintenance: inspect and maintain equipment under your jurisdiction.
• Energy Management: save energy and improve efficiency.
• Event Support: follow up on maintenance for events and meetings.
• Emergency Preparedness: test-run the generator for power failures.
• Fire Safety Supervision: supervise hotel fire preventive works and stop violations.
• Tool Management: manage tools and register usage.
