Job summary

Hilton in Singapore is seeking a proactive Cost Controller to oversee cost control, storerooms, receiving and inventory accuracy, ensuring food, beverage and other supplies stay within approved costs.

The role requires strong knowledge of cost control, inventory systems, and leadership to guide a team in a high-volume hotel environment. You will work closely with Purchasing, F&B and department heads to optimize costs while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma holder.
• Relevant experience in hotel or F&B industry operational accounting role preferred.
• Knowledge of cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work in high volume environment with strict timelines.
• Able to lead, provide guidance and develop team members.
• Able to work efficiently with highly digitalised environment.
• Proficient in Agilysys, OnQ and CheckSCM or Birchstreet will be an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost control duties and supervise receiving team.
• Ensure that all incoming goods are received via the receiving area, with deliveries properly checked against purchase orders and market lists.
• Record and verify on a daily basis all food and beverage invoices for price extension, total and unit prices which should conform to the approved market prices.
• Prepare daily and monthly cost reports according to operational requirements, organize cost communication meetings, and participate in profit and loss meetings when necessary.
