Job summary

GovTech Singapore’s School of Hospitality seeks a Senior Lecturer to drive teaching excellence, industry engagement, and hospitality transformation through technology. You will lead programs that merge hotel operations with digital innovations and partner with hotels, tech providers, and government agencies.

You will develop curriculums, mentor students, and steer applied research and industry projects that enhance capabilities and workforce readiness in a rapidly evolving sector.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Tourism, Business, IS or Digital Transformation (postgraduate advantageous).
• 8+ years of industry involvement in hotel operations, hospitality consulting, technology, or related sectors.
• Strong grasp of hotel operations and hospitality technologies.
• Experience in hospitality digital transformation and service innovation.
• Proven track record in business development, industry engagement, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Teach hospitality modules including hotel operations, guest experience management, hospitality technology, and service innovation.
• Develop and review curricula to align with evolving industry needs and technologies.
• Mentor students in projects, internships, and industry-based learning activities.
• Integrate industry practices and digital tools into teaching and assessment.
• Lead hospitality projects and consultancy initiatives on operations, guest experience, and transformation.
• Identify and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Manage projects with planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate with industry partners for applied research and workforce transformation.
